New at the Oaks: We are excited about our latest project! We are planning on planting multiple varieties of garden plants: Heirloom tomatoes, Roma and cherry, blueberries, several types of cucumber, squash and zucchini, bell peppers, jalapeños, a variety of hot peppers, beets, carrots, onions, beans, peas, butternut squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, radishes, eggplant/Japanese eggplant. We will be selling to our caterers and local restaurants. We also plan to give back by supporting local food banks and charities.
This month we sponsored a giveaway for a $100 Visa gift card. Our giveaway winner was Whitney Wilson🎉 A big thank you to everyone who participated and made this contest a success. Keep an eye out for future giveaways!

The Oaks at Salem Vendor Marketplace is a new concept with the benefits of a year-round Bridal Show with less work and expense! Located on the beautiful grounds of the Oaks at Salem in the rustic barn overlooking the pond. Couples come to tour the Oaks and also tour the Vendor Marketplace. They get to see in real time the Top wedding vendors in the Triangle area. They can pick up information from company booths in a no pressure gorgeous country setting conveniently located in Apex! Each month Veni, one of The Oaks fabulous coordinators, will be writing an advice/tips column to help our valued brides through the planning process!
It’s been cool, and it’s been fun, but we are so glad Spring has finally Sprung!! We know it’s hard to imagine right now with the extended cool spell we have had, but before you know it, we’ll be basking in the sun and enjoying all that is summer! Here at The Oaks, we have several beautiful ceremony locations to choose from including The Courtyard, The Front Porch, The Oaks (out front) and our 3,000 square foot tent. For weddings in warmer months, we often get questions about additional shade options for our satellite ceremony locations and we are always glad to help!
Tenting is a great way to keep your guests cool so they can still enjoy the outdoor spaces while protecting everyone from the sun (or even rain!). This is yet another reason we are so excited about our new rental partnership with CE Rental . . . They have you “Covered”!
